Tim Tebow is in the business of sticking it to those who don't believe in him.

Thursday, Tebow made his double-A debut with the Binghamton Rumble Ponies -- the New York Mets minor league affiliate -- and made an instant impact, going yard on his very first at bat.

Although it's tempting to get excited and start to ponder whether or not Tebow could make the big leagues, it's important to remember that Tebow managed to hit a dinger in his first at bat in Class A last year as well. Tebow then proceeded to post a .220 batting average, along with an .311 OBP and 3 home runs. Perhaps things will be different for Tebow in AA.

Tebow was invited to Spring Training by the Mets, but his performance was less than stellar over the course of his 7 games, as he went 1-18 and posted only one walk and grabbed zero RBIs.
